When the first plasma televisions began to appear in the 1990s most people felt that they belonged on the wall, yet ten years later around 70% of plasmas sit on a stand or cabinet. This is often because people prefer their TV in the corner of the room, in which case there is little benefit in wall mounting, or because they do not wish to have to redecorate to hide the cables and/ or structural supports needed, or because the stand or cabinet provides somewhere to put the DVD, hi-fi, set-top box etc. . It is a complete home cinema with every feature you could possibly want, custom built to order into your own designer cabinet with a wide choice of designs and finishes. The subwoofer and centre speaker are contained within the cabinet and there is also a compartment to discreetly house your set top box. Matching floor or wall mounted speakers are available to complete your digital entertainment system, or you can use your existing speakers or others of your choice.
Saturn can also serve as the heart of a multi-room system, and thus provide a real alternative to the disruption of a full custom installation project, or it can connect to your existing custom installation to quickly and simply add additional rooms.

The system includes a DVD player/ recorder, a hard-drive recorder (PVR), a picture viewer for your digital photos and videos and a high-capacity music server for all your CDs and MP3s. There also a powerful PC with full internet, e-mail, games and multi-room capability, all operated from a wireless keyboard. The Vivadi MediaMaster range costs £1,000 - £3,000 and the PRO series costs £3,000 - £10,000.
A complete Vivadi Saturn digital entertainment system will cost £5,500 - £12,500, depending on specification and finish. This includes a 46”, 50” or 60” plasma TV, a full Dolby surround sound system and a media server with DVD recorder, hard-drive PVR, picture viewer, music server, PC, internet, e-mail, games and multi-room capability.
A range of matching loudspeakers is available, priced from £1,000 per pair to £5,000 per pair.
