Media Streamers allow you to play all of the music and movies from your Media Centre PC or Media Server, in as many rooms as you wish. Our customers often like to use them with our MediaMaster or MediaServer models, but until now we have not had our own range and so we are often asked for recommendations. We have evaluated the leading models from each of the key brands and have concluded that the HDI Dune range offers the strongest combination of functionality, performance and reliability (see www.hdi-dune.com for further details). These are very good products and they work well with Vivadi MediaMasters and MediaServers, but they do have a couple of weaknesses. The first is that they can sometimes be a little slow in operation, the second is that the user interface could be better. We felt that it was a pity such good products should disappoint in these areas and so we have developed up-rated versions to address these issues. The result is our new Vivadi Dune range, offering faster operation and a stylish and easy-to-use interface:

There are 4 models in the range, priced from £399 - £599, with each offering the same performance and user interface. The entry level model is the Vivadi Dune Lite:

The Vivadi Dune Lite is a very compact unit, measuring just 162 x 83 x 142mm (H x W x D). It will play music and movies from CD, MP3 and DVD, but not Blu-ray. It will also show all your photos too.

The Vivadi Dune H1 is a little larger than the Lite, at  65 x 142 x 276mm (H x W x D). It does everything the Lite will do, and plays Blu-ray movies too! It also has the capacity to add another hard disc drive, so you easily increase the total storage capacity of your system. All this for just £20 more than the Lite!   

The Vivadi Dune B1 is the same size as the H1, but it swaps the HDD slot for a Blu-ray player, so you can play CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs locally, as well as from your MediaMaster or MediaServer.

The flagship Vivadi Dune HD Max is 65 x 429 x 229mm (H x W x D) and combines the Blu-ray player and HDD from the B1 and H1 into a single unit. 

Each Vivadi MediaMaster will run up to 4 Vivadi Dunes, whilst the MS108 MediaServer will run up to 20. In each case you can mix and match to suit your own personal requirement, for example you could have an HD Max in the lounge, B1s and H1s in the bedrooms and a Lite in the kitchen - it's entirely up to you. Whatever options you choose you will get superb functionality, performance and ease-of-use in every room!
